About me

Science and technology will be crucial in solving the major problems that our species will face in the coming centuries, and I want to do my part in guiding the development towards a better future. That is why I decided in 2016 to become an engineer and started studying for a M.Sc in Engineering Physics at Lund University. When I graduated in 2021, my interest in science was still as strong as ever, so I decided to continue studying as a Ph.D student.

During my third year as an undergraduate, I took a course in fluid mechanics. I found the subject quite interesting, so I took a few more. I inevitably stumbled into CFD, where I found my future career. The main reason I love CFD is the fact that such a horrendously chaotic and complicated phenomenon as turbulent flow can be reproduced realistically from a few simple mathematical relations. I also love making pretty pictures in ParaView.
